What to expect

How it works

You don't need to have it all figured out before you reach out. One conversation is enough to get started — we take it from there.

  • We listen. Tell us what's happening in your own words. We hear the whole situation, not just the first thing that prompted the call.
  • We assess. One need often leads to another — rent, food, healthcare, legal, utilities. We map everything so nothing slips through.
  • We connect. We link you directly with the right agencies and programs — warm handoffs, not phone trees.
  • We follow up. We stay on your case until it's actually resolved, and we're here again whenever a new need comes up.

There is never a cost, your information stays confidential, and there is no limit on how long we'll work with you. Language is never a barrier — we help in English, Español, and Kreyòl Ayisyen.
