How We Help

What we do

We don't hand out a phone number and wish you luck. Our navigators connect you to the community's existing resources and walk the whole route with you — so help actually happens.

Every situation is different, but most begin the same way: a neighbor facing a crisis who doesn't know which of Collier County's dozens of agencies and programs can help. That's where we step in. We assess the whole picture, connect you to the right resources, and stay involved until the need is met — at no cost, in English, Español, or Kreyòl Ayisyen.

Where we step in

Housing assistance

Emergency rent and mortgage help, eviction and homelessness prevention, and referrals to keep you housed.

Food assistance

Connections to food pantries, meal programs, SNAP, and nutrition support across the county.

Healthcare & medical

Access to clinics, prescriptions, medical equipment, dental, vision, and specialty care.

Utility payments

Help with electric and water bills before a shutoff turns into a full-blown crisis.

Legal services

Referrals to legal aid for housing, family, immigration, and public-benefits matters.

Cases beyond the box

From oxygen concentrators to A/C repairs — if there's a real need, we find a way to meet it.

The CRC Way

One guide, from first call to lasting solution

What sets us apart isn't a single program — it's how we work. We stay with each case, coordinating across agencies so our neighbors don't have to navigate the maze alone.

  • Listen carefully — every case begins with a real conversation.
  • Assess needs — we map everything, because one need usually spills into another.
  • Find resources — direct connections to the right agencies, not a list of numbers.
  • Follow up — we track progress and step back in until it's resolved.

Because we connect neighbors to resources that already exist in the community, every donated dollar goes remarkably far. See how that adds up in Numbers Tell the Story.
