Navigate · Educate · Empower
We help Collier County neighbors find and obtain the assistance they need — connecting each person to the right agencies and programs, and staying with them until a solution is found. Every service is free, confidential, and offered in English, Español, and Kreyòl Ayisyen, with no limit on how long we'll help.
A community where help is within reach
A Collier County where every neighbor — regardless of income, language, or circumstance — can navigate the path out of crisis with a knowledgeable guide beside them.
Navigate
We know the system so you don't have to. We connect the dots between agencies and walk the route with you.
Educate
We help neighbors understand their options and rights, so each person leaves more equipped than they arrived.
Empower
Our goal isn't just to solve today's crisis — it's to leave people stronger and more self-reliant for what comes next.
Dignity
Everyone is met with respect and without judgment. Asking for help takes courage; we honor it.
Confidentiality
What you share stays private. Trust is the foundation of everything we do.
Persistence
We don't stop at a referral. We follow each case — and step back in whenever we're needed again.
From one problem-solver to thousands helped
Collier Resource Center was founded in 2015 by Nina Gray, who saw neighbors falling through the cracks between well-meaning agencies that didn't always talk to one another. Her approach was simple and stubborn: "We like to solve problems."
"We like to solve problems." — Nina Gray, Founder
In our first full year we served 60 neighbors. In 2025 — our tenth anniversary — that number reached 2,018, the most in our history, and we've touched more than 8,000 lives since we opened our doors. Along the way we've built a network of over 300 community partners, and we return 96% of every dollar directly to client services.
What hasn't changed is the model: a real person who listens, maps out the whole situation, makes the right connections, and follows through. See the full picture in Numbers Tell the Story, or read how it plays out in our neighbors' own words.
Whether you need help, want to volunteer, or want to give — there's a place for you here.
